First film of the Year

So it was Saturday and my wife called a meeting for 2 pm. Now I’m thinking what can this be all about. Much to my surprise she was planning on taking the three of us, our daughter, herself and me to see “The Bucket List”

Folks I have got to tell you that was one great movie. Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman seemed to be the most unlikely characters to star in a movie together. But, they worked very well together and the story was believable. Now I don’t want to give away any of the movie plot or story because that might spoil it. If you like strong characters, great story lines, and the idea of seeing a movie that makes you rethink your own life don’t miss it. In fact, just don’t miss it and by the way no matter how macho or tough you think you are, well just be prepared for tears. Oh yes.... they will come unless of course you are already dead.

My wife knows how to pick a movie. What a nice distraction from other things for us all. Then it was followed up with great coffee and conversation at Starbucks. Life just doesn’t get any better than those simple yet, great times you share with those you love.
