Planning for 2008
It’s 2008, we have started a new year, and that means a new calendar. Some just hang one on a wall or place the old faithful on a desk to look at as needed. While that works great for some things, I need a planner to keep track of things and make sure they are being done in a timely manner. In past years, the planner refills were purchased for me by the company I worked for. That is not the case anymore.
Therefore, I knew I needed to get a replacement before the New Year started. I pondered about it quite awhile. What to do, what to do? I had my eye on a couple electronic devices, PDAs that would seem to do it all. They all had calendars, to do list, calculators, etc. you name it. But, did I need everything it offered or want to pay the huge price the retailers were asking? I wasn’t certain about that until one day when a great deal arrived. The price was over $100.00 off the original price plus I had a coupon for another $25. I look at several online, read the reviews and compared prices through the net and in stores. Nothing could beat this deal. So, guess what? I ended up purchasing it.
I got a Palm TX from one of our local business supply stores. It has features that I didn’t even know existed with a PDA. After running through the “Get Started” instructions and installing the software on my computer I was all set. It was incredible! It took a couple of days to get familiar with the features and functions but I have to say this thing is one swift puppy. Easily it is one of the best tools I have purchased in years. It even as Wi Fi so everywhere internet is available I can connect within seconds. I really like it and believe that it will be incredibility helpful for years to come. Yep, the I.C. “Indiana Cowboy” has increased his horse speed.
