Lincoln – Soon he will be here no more

In just a few more days, the Lincoln Museum in Fort Wayne, Indiana will close its doors forever. After 77 years in the community, the doors will be locked to the general public. All the exhibits, pictures, artifacts and memorabilia will be dispersed to other locations throughout the nation. Some of them will be sent to Pennsylvania where they will be on display again. For the rest, who knows!

So, for those in the local area the time is drawing to a close for your last pilgrimage to the once popular museum. Truly, this area will miss the availability to quietly walk through and remember the man that made a difference in America’s history.

If you cannot visit, at least take a look at the website before it is shutdown as well. To view it click on Honest Abe.
