Goodbye
If you asked most people today who Tobey Maguire is they will probably say, oh yeah that’s the guy who plays Spiderman. But, back in 1999 he played in a movie called “The Cider House Rules” I’ve probably only seen it once but I liked it and has a touching story to tell about love, commitment and the heartbreak of loosing someone you care for deeply.
About four years later Lionel Richie came out with a song that when I first heard it touched a soft spot in my heart. The song is called “Goodbye” and is one my favorites that he sings. I liked the song immediately and each time I hear it I like it more.
Now someone, with their creative ability has put clips of the movie together with the entire song. The music seems to have captured some of the tender moments of the movie’s story and the feelings of the main character.

Man. You got more out of that movie than I did. I thought it was awful!
A knocked up girl gets an abortion, her man goes off to war, and she cheats with a runaway orphan. She gets knocked up by THAT one and actually has the kid and lies about it. She marries the war guy, but has secretly has an affair with the orphan guy for YEARS.
Blech.
We surely do see things differently.
As for Lionel Ritchie... I like "Hello" better than "Goodbye". :p
